H2O & Power Solutions Multi-Unit Residential

On-site water and power turn utility line items into assets.

Apartments, HOAs, senior living, and workforce housing partner with us when operators are tired of municipal and grid rate hikes, residents are tired of boil-water notices and brownouts, and balance sheets want water and power systems that depreciate instead of expenses that escalate.

Where on-site water gives operators an underwriting advantage.

Three residential profiles where capital allocated to water generation outperforms the same dollars allocated to municipal billing.

Multifamily & Apartments

Mid-rise and high-rise communities where utility cost is a top-three operating expense. On-site water reduces operator risk and provides a marketing differentiator residents understand.

Senior Living & Assisted

Communities with continuous, predictable demand and zero-tolerance for interruption. Water quality control (mineral, PPM) matters as much as supply.

Workforce & Affordable

Tax-credit, LIHTC, and workforce housing developments where eliminating utility pass-through stabilizes resident cost-of-living and operator pro-forma. System integration coordinated with applicable regulatory requirements.

Reference Capability
Modeled Profile R-A

318-unit multifamily community — on-site water designable to ~100% of demand, plus 720 kW rooftop solar option.

This is the capability stack we can scope for a Class-A multifamily property: a rooftop AWG array with basement storage designed to replace municipal water demand, paired with a rooftop solar + battery system that can offset much of the building electrical load. Configured so residents experience no change in service quality. This profile represents a modeled capability stack, not a completed installation — H2O & Power Solutions is actively onboarding its first multifamily partners.

Common Questions

Residential Systems FAQ

Common questions about multi-unit residential water and power systems

What types of residential properties do you serve?

We serve multifamily apartments (mid-rise and high-rise), HOAs, senior living and assisted living communities, and workforce/affordable housing developments including LIHTC properties. Any multi-unit property where utility cost is a top operating expense is a fit.

Will residents notice a difference in water quality?

Residents should not notice a change in service quality. Our rooftop AWG systems include 9-stage filtration with UV, RO, and mineral re-introduction. Booster pumps maintain pressure consistent with municipal supply. Quarterly third-party lab audits are available for resident transparency.

How does on-site water affect my property valuation?

On-site water and solar systems convert operating expenses into depreciable capital assets. In the modeled 318-unit profile, combined opex savings of approximately $420k/year translate to a modeled valuation lift of approximately $5.8M at a 7.25% cap rate. Actual cap rate varies by market.

Can the system include EV charging?

Yes. Electrical service is sized and conduited for Level 2 EV charging across resident parking, deployable in phases as demand grows. EV charging is tied to your solar production where it pencils, reducing the cost of charging infrastructure.

What happens during a power outage?

Battery storage covers peak demand charges and provides keep-alive backup for elevators, hallways, water, and security loads. Automatic transfer switching to a natural-gas backup genset handles extended outages. The system is designed so critical building services remain operational.
What Our Clients Say

What Our Partners Say

Trusted by commercial, agricultural, and residential property operators

H2O & Power Solutions delivered a comprehensive water and power assessment for our campus that no other vendor had even attempted. They looked at water and power as a single integrated system — and the economics made sense immediately. The preliminary assessment alone saved us months of piecemeal vendor conversations.

We were hauling water to our ranch three times a week at $400 a load. H2O & Power Solutions modeled a catchment + AWG system powered by solar that penciled out to less than half our annual hauling cost. The off-grid power system means we stopped running the diesel genset 24/7 too.
